The Utah Weekend...

Holy smokes! You know, when you barely leave the house anymore because the thought of putting on ALL your make-up makes you want to throw up? A big weekend can wipe you out for at least a month! :) We left Thursday so we could get all rested before the party. We woke up Friday got 5 kids and ourselves dressed (which in itself is huge) and headed to SLC. We spent the day at Hogle Zoo. They have a new baby elephant which was way cool to see. My kids loved it. Olivia especially! She learned to speak in full paragraphs this day alone. :) It was really fun to watch their cute little faces pressed up against the glass. After only two time outs for Kooper and Livi scratching my face off because I made her get off the carousel, we headed to Chucky Cheese. I apparently didn't have my camera because I don't have pictures of this. Dad I need the ones you have. :) Kooper has been asking to go there for a year, ever since the viewing of his first Chucky Cheese commercial. He was in HEAVEN. It was everything this little 3 year old could imagine. The next day was full of even more "cat hearding". (that's what I call trying to make 5 kids go 1 place) :) LAGOON!! A wonderland of rides and freaky people! ha ha Seriously though, I LOVE people watching and I am telling you this place is better than Walmart! I was totally entertained. This was the first time my little Olivia has been big enough to ride some rides. I couldn't keep her off. She kept grabbing my face saying "MOM,RIDE,PLEEEEAAASE! How can I say no that! It was dang cold though. I have never worn that many clothes to Lagoon before, but if you think I didn't get the $12.00 free refillable mug you are sadly mistaken! :) They had Diet Coke and I gladly payed the price. ha ha It was an awesome weekend. Thanks Dad :)
