America

Well.......I love this country, I always have and I always will. I just can't help but think that the people have elected someone they deserve. Big Government never was my idea of a thriving country but I guess other people have other ideas. Never in my life time have I ever seen the lives of Innocent unborn children go by the wayside as I'm sure they will now more than ever. Never have I known America to frown upon people who have made something of themselves to the point of taking away that which they have worked so hard to earn, given to people who would rather complain, sit and do nothing about their lives. If it's change they want it's coming, at the expense of simple freedoms. I hope we make it through with everything that hard working people have spent lifetimes trying to earn. It would be a travesty for the good people of this country to loose even more over someone just trying to make history.

Couldn't have said it better myself. I had to go to bed early last night to escape the doom that was being reported on the news (not only the presidency but also the senate/house). Do the words..."constitution hanging by a thread" mean more now than ever? I think so...

On a happier note...would you use your amazing photography skills to take a family photo of my parent's familia at Thanksgiving (and our whole family for that matter.) I just realized it'll be the last time all of my bro's and sis's will be together for quite some time! Maybe a few girl cousins photos as well...can't wait!!!!!

At a time like this, I'm so thankful I have the church and the knowledge that things like this happen for a reason. It's hard to understand, but I guess it's all part of the plan. It's frustrating trying to figure out why more than half of America voted for this man, so I try not too! I think the best thing to do is learn more about the issues America is facing and educate people on them so hopefully come the next election, people will vote a little more wisely.

I agree with you totally. I can't believe that we can elect someone who is friends with terrorist. You would think that people were smarter than that especially after we were attacked. I hope that heavenly father hears are prayers and protects us through these 4 years. I think we will need it. I can't trust someone like that. I'm just grateful that prop 8 pass. That's one good think about yesterday.
